Laurie C. Williams, BA, CCUI, FFC, embodies a lifelong dedication to the profound connection between dogs and humans. With over three decades of experience as a behavior counselor and dog trainer, she has cultivated a unique and insightful understanding of this complex relationship.

As the owner and Director of Training and Behavior Counseling at Pup ‘N Iron Canine Enrichment Center in Fredericksburg, VA, Laurie has served her community for 15 years as a leading specialist in canine education and behavior. Her work is deeply rooted in relationship-based training, where she crafts individualized programs and enriching activities that foster strong, harmonious bonds between dogs and their owners.
Laurie’s impressive academic background includes a B.A. from Norwich University, and she has also served as adjunct faculty at Northern Virginia Community College. Her expertise extends to writing, where she is a nationally published author with articles featured in esteemed publications. She currently holds a respected position on the Board of Governors of the Dog Writer’s Association of America.
